Biographie:

After playing too many shows in the shadows of the Alps, these five talented Helvetians packed their guitars and headed to the big city. What started as just a band became a way of life; more than simply making music, they were making community, conventions be damned! After pouring themselves into molds for so long, they got lost together and found themselves in a position to cast their own. Reshaped by sharing their lives, they were able to share the stage like never before.

Perhaps the most reshaping happened to their sound. Loss now paints the anchors of their songs black, while their sparse melodies shed just enough light for you to know you’re lost. The timbre of the album is reminiscent of Spacemen 3′s “Playing with Fire”. Recorded in a Cold War radio-surveillence tower, the vocals reference The Velvet Underground’s “The Gift” and, in combination with the full band, give a nod to the Crystal Stilts. All the references in the world can’t come close to their live show.
